Key Responsibilities
- Leading stream restoration, natural channel design, mitigation banking, and watershed restoration projects throughout the Southeast
- Providing technical oversight for hydraulic and hydrologic modelling, geomorphic assessments, and restoration design efforts
- Managing project delivery while supporting the growth and development of a dedicated stream restoration team
- Collaborating with environmental, water resources, and natural resources professionals across multiple offices
- Supporting business development initiatives, client relationship management, and strategic growth of the practice
- Mentoring junior staff and helping establish processes, standards, and best practices for future team expansion
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, Biological Systems Engineering, or a related discipline
- Active South Carolina PE license preferred, with flexibility for strong candidates demonstrating leadership potential
- Minimum of 5+ years of stream restoration, natural channel design, or related water resources experience
- Strong background in H&H modelling, fluvial geomorphology, and stream restoration design principles
- Experience supporting mitigation banking, ecosystem restoration, watershed management, or environmental restoration projects
- Proficiency with GIS and industry-standard hydraulic modelling software
- Strong leadership, mentorship, communication, and business development skills with an interest in growing a team and practice area
