WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER (SOUTH JORDAN, UT)

About the role

Provide engineering services on a wide range of water related projects, including hydraulic analysis, hydrologic analysis, computer modeling, data analysis, GIS and CAD work, research, water infrastructure design, construction observation, and technical report generation. Use engineering principles to enhance municipal projects and improve the public's standard of living (water, sewer, and storm drain pipelines).

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS for project planning and design (pipelines extension, replacement and new urbanizations).
• Analyze engineering data and prepare design calculations.
• Prepare technical specifications and drawings and assist with bid documents for municipal projects to ensure project adherence to regulatory and engineering standards.
• Oversee construction projects, including submittal review, progress reporting, conduct on-site observations and prepare daily reports, and managing communication with contractors.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (with focus on Water Resources).
• 3 years of experience in job offered.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MS Excel.
