Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships.
- Manage all phases of water/wastewater projects including planning, engineering, and construction.
- Develop and manage projects from inception to completion.
- Provide clear and concise documentation of design approach and implementation.
- Perform analysis and design required for minor structures, systems, and equipment items.
- Prepare sketches and diagrams for use by technicians.
- Review and check detailed drawings and layouts.
- Prepare reports, economic and technical feasibility studies, and studies aimed at evaluating alternative systems, equipment, materials or engineering methods.
- Prepare contract / proposals specifications and construction cost estimates.
- Review Contractor's shop drawing submittal.
- Engage with department leads throughout the firms many practice disciplines.
- Encourage team growth, cohesiveness, and innovation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- Professional Licensure in the state of Indiana is preferred.
- Professional Licensure in the state of MI or OH is highly favored.
- 3-5 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering preferred.
Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment while actively promoting a collaborative and innovative culture.
- Experience with managing and working on water/wastewater engineering projects.
- High level of proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Proficiency in ARC GIS, WaterCAD, and HydroCAD preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
