Water Resources Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships.
• Manage all phases of water/wastewater projects including planning, engineering, and construction.
• Develop and manage projects from inception to completion.
• Provide clear and concise documentation of design approach and implementation.
• Perform analysis and design required for minor structures, systems, and equipment items.
• Prepare sketches and diagrams for use by technicians.
• Review and check detailed drawings and layouts.
• Prepare reports, economic and technical feasibility studies, and studies aimed at evaluating alternative systems, equipment, materials or engineering methods.
• Prepare contract / proposals specifications and construction cost estimates.
• Review Contractor's shop drawing submittal.
• Engage with department leads throughout the firms many practice disciplines.
• Encourage team growth, cohesiveness, and innovation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional Licensure in the state of Indiana is preferred.
• Professional Licensure in the state of MI or OH is highly favored.
• 3-5 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering preferred.

Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment while actively promoting a collaborative and innovative culture.
• Experience with managing and working on water/wastewater engineering projects.
• High level of proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in ARC GIS, WaterCAD, and HydroCAD preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
