Water Resources Engineer
Job Details
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for drainage design, floodplain studies, and stormwater management projects
Prepare drainage reports, master drainage plans, and floodplain delineation studies in accordance with local, county, and FEMA standards
Develop and run hydraulic models (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS) to evaluate flood risk, channel capacity, and detention/retention basin design
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in water resources engineering
- EIT, preferably PE licensed in Arizona
- Experience preparing drainage reports, master drainage studies, or floodplain analyses
- Proficiency in: AutoCAD, Civil3D, ArcGIS, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD
