About the role
The Water Resources Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing sustainable water management solutions. This includes analyzing water supply and demand, developing strategies for water conservation, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze water supply and demand data to inform strategic planning
- Develop and implement water conservation programs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Prepare technical reports and presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in water resources engineering
- Knowledge of water resource management principles and practices
- Experience with GIS software and modeling tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with regulatory compliance and permitting processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Strong understanding of hydrology and hydraulics
- Experience with water quality analysis
- Knowledge of water rights and water law
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
