What You'll Do
- Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for wastewater collection systems such as sewer and pump stations
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff
- Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital infrastructure
- Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions
- Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
- Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
- Knowledge of various technologies such as oxidation ditches, activated sludge, extended aeration, waste stabilization lagoons, and SBR
- Knowledge of wastewater design software
- Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred
