Water Jet Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machines
• Responsible for loading and unloading material to be set to measurements given by software systems or blueprints
• Accurately read calibrated measurement instruments (caliper, tape measures, etc.) and manually program parts to be cut
• Rotate and cross-train into all production operations
• Clean and deburr parts, label and coordinate cut parts for the next customer in a professional manner
• Perform minor technical repairs or adjustments on machines
• Organize and prioritize their workload based on business needs
• Take all needed precautions to maintain all safety requirements

Qualifications

• Able to handle repetitive lifting while using proper lifting techniques daily
• Must have previous experience in similar role
• Must have prior experience in reading blueprints and adjusting machine to necessary settings
• Able to lift-up to 50 lbs. comfortably
• Able to work overhead, and standing up constantly throughout the day
