About the role
The Engineering Technician will work closely with Project Engineers and Project Managers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor with all staff
- Manage a fair workload by staying focused and managing priorities
- Produce error-free drawings without sacrificing production volume
- Use CAD and other Engineering/Technical skills
- Understand project design and McClure-Drive Standards
- Use effective oral and written communication skills
- Use excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Requirements
- Minimum of a two-year certificate in Engineering Technology and/or Computer Aided Design preferred
- Two to five years of CAD experience desired
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
- Strong understanding of construction systems and techniques and industry standards
- Strong knowledge of CAD and other Engineering/Technical skills
- Strong knowledge of project design
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office knowledge
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
