Water Engineering Project Manager - Water Supply & Wastewater

About the role

V3 Companies seeks a professional engineer and project manager with 9+ years of experience in our Central Ohio office. The ideal candidate will lead and mentor project teams, build strong client relationships, coordinate project requirements, and participate in business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of growth, creativity, and excellence.
• Build strong client relationships from contract procurement through project coordination and completion.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
• Be a project-level leader for engineering tasks such as concept design, data analysis, calculation, hydraulic and process modeling, sketching, detailed design, report writing, and preparation of bid documents.
• Engage in field activities both during design and as part of construction oversight.
• Participate in business development; client and industry engagement, local strategy, project development, and proposals.
• Be a key member or leader of multi-disciplinary teams comprised of civil, process, mechanical, electrical, controls, and structural engineers as well as planners, landscape architects, surveyors, and administrators.
• Build strong industry and community relationships.
• Actively engage in V3’s local and company culture which is built around employee and client experience, career growth, and community service.

Qualifications

• Graduates of four-year engineering degree such as civil, mechanical, environmental, or chemical engineering.
• Licensed professional engineer.
• Experience in the design and construction administration of water supply and wastewater infrastructure.
• Team player who enjoys the in-office, relaxed but focused, close-knit team environment.
