This role is for an Engineering Intern located in the Cincinnati, OH office.
Responsibilities
- Assist water resource engineers with hydraulic modeling
- GIS mapping
- Engineering planning and design
- Contract document production
- Construction phase engineering support
- Mentored by professional engineers and technical experts in planning and designing infrastructure such as sanitary collection systems, storm sewer systems, water and wastewater pump stations, and treatment facilities for water and wastewater plants
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Good communication (both written and verbal), problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
Skills
- Self‑driven time management and organizational skills
- Experience with a PDF editor such as Bluebeam
- Experience with computer‑aided drafting programs such as Revit and Microstation

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $60,000.00; pay will be hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Schedule
Jacobs offers a hybrid working policy, allowing employees to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations.
