Water Engineer
About The Role
Metis have a healthy pipeline of exciting projects delivering sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and traditional drainage projects – across a range of public sector and private sector clients. The Water Engineer role will help ensure that these commissions are delivered to the highest quality standards.
KEY OBJECTIVES
- Develop both small-scale SuDS interventions and large-scale flood alleviation schemes (public and private)
- Cover all design stages, from feasibility and concept through to detailed design and construction
- Develop hydraulic models and civil design packages
- Liaise with client and stakeholders, and facilitate scheme progression
- Support senior engineers
- Help to train more junior members of the team
Qualifications, Skills And Experience
- Working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015
- Strong CAD skills
- Experience in InfoDrainage or similar software
- Competency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Capacity to deliver multiple projects
- Ability to integrate into a team, and consult with clients and stakeholders
