Position Overview
As a Water Damage Technician at Precision Environmental, you will work under the guidance of our Lead Technician, developing expertise in the use of industry-specific tools and equipment through on-the-job training. This entry-level role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the proper restoration of damaged spaces. You will report directly to the Operations Manager of your location and collaborate with various departments within the company.

Responsibilities
- Follow directions from Lead Technicians, seeking clarification when needed.
- Perform assigned tasks to support job completion, including materials pickup, client content relocation, and construction repairs while adhering to regulations and standards.
- Assist with packing and storing contents, hauling materials, and stocking jobs as directed.
- Support Lead Technicians in maintaining company vehicles and restocking supplies.
- Complete time reporting paperwork and timecards promptly.
- Participate in safety briefings and required training sessions.
- Adhere to company safety practices and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- May be required to wear respiratory protection for abatement activities.
Position Requirements
- Prior experience using basic hand tools, preferably in a construction or similar environment.
- Familiarity with fundamental safety protocols.
- Physical fitness for tasks involving lifting (up to 50lbs), good balance, and hand-eye coordination.
- Possession of a valid driver's license may be required.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal communication skills), a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate with Lead Technicians and Superintendents.
- Successful completion of Respirator physical and fit testing.
- Basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, and mild chemicals.
- Comfort working with diverse building materials.
- Capability to read and comprehend basic written instructions.
- Strong judgment and composure under pressure.
Working Conditions
- Occasional exposure to hazardous situations or chemicals.
- Frequent lifting and movement of heavy objects (up to 50lbs).
- Regular use of left/right hand motion.
- Limited time spent in constricted areas.
- Availability for on-call shifts, weekends, and after-hours work.
