Responsibilities

• Maintain the laboratory and ensure that chemicals are properly labeled and stored.
• Load and unload chemicals and waste to and from delivery trucks.
• Titration of tanks.
• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and processes, including pumps, valves, filters, and chemical feed systems, etc.
• Monitor wastewater treatment processes, including flow rates, chemical dosages, and treatment performance, and make adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency and compliance.
• Conduct routine tests and analysis on wastewater samples to assess treatment effectiveness and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance tasks to address equipment malfunctions and ensure uninterrupted operation of the facility.
• Maintain accurate records of plant operations, including process data, test results, maintenance activities, and chemical usage.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements

• Read, speak and write English.
• Lift and carry 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Operate fork truck and overhead cranes safely.
• Able to work well with others as a team member with a positive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills.
• Grade 3 Industrial Wastewater License required.

Qualifications

• Grade 3 Industrial Wastewater License required.
