Responsibilities

  • Work in a setting that involves harvesting animals and/or preparing products for shipment to customers.
  • Use hand tools such as knives and hooks, as well as powered industrial tools like saws, skinners, or other powered knives.
  • Operate centrifuge, sludge screening equipment, and Wastewater Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system and skimmers.
  • Adjust treatment chemicals and steam valves as required.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and forklift operation.
  • Understand and operate touch screen controls.
  • Perform equipment clean-in-place (CIP) procedures.
  • Inspect and maintain the Air Pollution Control System.
  • Participate in and take responsibility for all company safety and environmental management programs.

Requirements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in higher heat conditions.
  • Attention to detail and team-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Dependable.

Schedule

Full-Time, 40 to 50 hours per week.

2nd Shift: Monday through Friday and some Saturdays.
