Wastewater Business Class Lead

Responsibilities
- Lead technical excellence and drive strategic growth
- Mentor future leaders and grow multidisciplinary wastewater treatment teams
- Support staff development, morale, and operational performance
- Lead complex wastewater treatment projects from planning to construction
- Advance technical capabilities in areas like nutrient removal, solids handling, and condition assessment
- Promote quality assurance, quality control, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with regional and national experts to strengthen HDR’s technical leadership
- Drive strategic growth initiatives and expand HDR’s wastewater portfolio
- Represent HDR within industry organizations and contribute to advancements in the wastewater industry
Requirements
- Master’s degree preferred
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and team-building experience
- Strong technical background in wastewater treatment planning and design
- 10+ years of experience
- Committed to quality, improvement, and HDR values
- Maintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience
- Experienced in development and management of diverse teams
- Works cooperatively with other business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors, and marketing managers on business class efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering, or closely related field
- Active involvement in industry organizations such as the Rocky Mountain Section American Water Works Association, Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association, WEFTEC, or Water Research Foundation
- Committed to quality, improvement, and HDR values
- Maintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience
- Experienced in development and management of diverse teams
- Works cooperatively with other business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors, and marketing managers on business class efforts

Pay
The expected compensation range for this position depends on skills, experience, education, and geographical location. For Colorado, the range is $162,855.00 - $232,650.00.
