Waste Water Operator Level A

About the role

The successful candidate will assist in the control of the overall environmental compliance program for water treatment systems. They will oversee all required monitoring and reporting of sample results mandated by federal, state, and local regulations. Compliance recordkeeping and process control lab work will be part of their responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Affix to all safety requirements, including personal protective equipment (PPE), and report and prevent unsafe acts and conditions.
• Implement lockout/tagout procedures and manage Process Safety Management (PSM) related matters.
• Operate the Water Treatment system, adhering to a maintenance schedule and responding to necessary repairs.
• Conduct Process Control lab work as required.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering from an accredited college or equivalent credit hours in any other approved curriculum.
• At least four years of acceptable operating experience in wastewater facilities of Class II or higher, with at least two years in a position of direct responsible charge.
• Level III Wastewater Operator License.

Qualifications

Must be available to work Wednesday through Saturday, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Skills

Strong understanding of environmental compliance, safety protocols, and process control is essential. Proficiency in operating and maintaining water treatment systems is required.

Pay

$X per hour or $Y per shift, depending on the specific role and location.

Schedule

Wednesday through Saturday, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
