Join the Empower Team, and you will be set up in a structured, detailed mentorship/leadership program, as well as daily interaction with friendly PTs, one of whom is an MDT Diplomat with specialties in pelvic floor, sports, and orthopedic care.

Our ideal patient is the “Alaskan Athlete”, the individual who loves to be active, enjoys the outdoors, and participates in “Alaska’s Sports”, i.e., fishing, hiking, skiing, etc. These patients have a strong desire to get back outside and enjoy the beauty of our state, so they are motivated to work hard and come to their therapy!

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional physical therapy care to a diverse patient population
  • Work with outdoor enthusiasts and active individuals to help them return to their activities
  • Participate in a structured mentorship and leadership program
  • Collaborate with a team of physical therapists, including an MDT Diplomat

Requirements

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for outdoor adventure and willingness to embrace the unique challenges and rewards of living in Alaska

UPMC Rehabilitation Institute – Erie West 26th Street Facility – Full-time

About the role

Opening for a full-time Physical Therapist with a strong interest and/or experience in orthopedics, especially spine care.

Responsibilities

  • Review patient charts and perform initial assessments
  • Develop treatment plans and administer physical therapy treatments and modalities
  • Monitor progress and document treatments performed with patients, including discharge planning and patient education
  • Increase overall functioning, reduce discomfort, increase or maintain flexibility and range of motion/strength, and achieve other medical and therapeutic goals

FitLab Rehab – Austin, TX (Westlake / Bee Caves) – Full-time

FitLab Rehab is a sports-driven chiropractic + rehab clinic with a full gym setup, a loyal patient base, and strong referral relationships with primary care providers across Westlake. We’re looking for a Lead Physical Therapist who’s excited to join a high-performance, boutique sports rehab environment. Our patients love us, we love them, and we’re building something special — a clinic where athletes, active families, and aging runners get truly individualized care that actually works.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1, individualized physical therapy for a wide variety of patients — from youth sports athletes to aging marathoners
  • Collaborate closely to create effective, creative, movement-based treatment plans
  • Use our full gym environment to train, load, strengthen, and restore patients to their highest level
  • Apply (or learn!) the McKenzie Method and other evidence-based approaches
  • Communicate clearly with referring physicians and maintain strong relationships with our medical partners
  • Contribute to a fun, supportive, high-energy clinic culture where patients feel seen, heard, and cared for
  • Bring curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to work hard for the people who trust us with their health

Requirements

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (new grads welcome — experience is not required)
  • Passion for problem-solving, analyzing movement, and digging deeper than “standard protocols”
