Washroom Attendant (1st Shift) (35197)

About the role

Primary function: Support dry processing of snack food products through sorting, dipping, packing, and weighing, and assist in other tasks that prepare product for packaging. Assist in all phases of the plant cleaning process, including production areas, equipment, and tools, following proper sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Break down equipment and clean all equipment by following sanitation procedures.
• Clean cutting room and wet processing areas.
• Clean plant floors, walls, drains, trash cans, restrooms, breakroom, and sanitation room.
• Clean processing equipment, including product screens and trees.
• Follow GMP/HACCP procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old to apply and not currently enrolled in high school.
• Wear required personal protective equipment: boots, chemical‑resistant gloves, goggles/face shields, safety knife, NIOSH‑approved respirator, ear plugs.
• Ability to handle physical demands: lifting 50 lbs, pushing/pulling 1200 lb. trees, standing 100% of shift, handling (holding, grasping), climbing/balancing, bending/twisting, seeing/depth perception, and maintaining personal hygiene.
• Work environment: stand on concrete, exposure to hot and cold temperatures, cramped quarters, wet conditions, fumes/odors.

Qualifications

Knowledge of basic sanitation practices and techniques; ability to follow instructions and procedures; ability to work in a team‑based environment.

Schedule

This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.
