Washrack Technician

About the role

Louisiana Cat is seeking a Washrack Technician to join their growing operations at their Lake Charles, LA location. The position involves operating and inspecting equipment, and assisting with various tasks in the Service Department.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in the yard
• Maintain a clean and orderly yard
• Wash, prep and inspect equipment
• Aiding with various shop and maintenance tasks

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively, timely, and professionally
• Well-developed communication and organizational skills

Qualifications

Highly desirable qualifications include:

• Experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Cat® equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude

Skills

• Proficiency with basic tools and equipment
• Good physical fitness to perform yard tasks
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday - Friday 7:00AM to 4:00PM

Requires physical movement, lifting, squatting, and bending per the job description
