Warranty Compliance Auditor East

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct dealership audits covering warranty, parts, labor rates, sales, and service operations to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Perform in-dealership compliance reviews of documentation, parts usage, and accounting records (50%-75% travel required).
  • Analyze cost and volume data to support cost containment initiatives and identify operational trends.
  • Develop and deliver detailed audit reports, including corrective action plans for dealership improvements.
  • Provide training to dealership personnel and regional teams on compliance processes and policy adherence.
  • Monitor implementation of corrective actions and provide ongoing support and follow-up with stakeholders.
  • Evaluate warranty procedures, claims submissions, documentation practices, and parts handling for compliance.
  • Compile and maintain audit documentation and compliance records for internal tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to information security policies and proper handling of confidential business information.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to identify and address non-compliance trends and operational gaps.

Qualifications

  • College degree in Automotive Technology, Business Administration/Management or equivalent work experience.
  • ASE certification recommended.
  • 5 plus total years of automotive experience.
  • In-dealership experience with emphasis on business and service department administration.
  • Experience in dealership warranty processing, claims adjusting, investigation, and warranty policy interpretation.
  • Automotive technical knowledge and dealer service experience a must.
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, and dealer management systems.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable engaging with dealership executives.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Preferred (Optional)

  • Experience working with premium automotive brands.
  • Familiarity with compliance auditing frameworks and dealership performance metrics.
