About the role
The Warehouser at Potelco Inc. is responsible for receiving, issuing, and maintaining all materials necessary for the operation of the storeroom/yard. This role requires developing a complete working knowledge of all materials, their use, and application while maintaining an organized and orderly warehouse facility. The Warehouser ensures the proper disposition of all materials and prioritizes safety through participation in safety meetings, inspections, incident reporting, and maintaining required licenses. This position supports operations in Redmond, WA.
Responsibilities
- Receiving: Inspect, document, and resolve vendor communications; properly tear down packaging, label, and store materials.
- Inventory and inventory control: Maintain records of issuances, receipts, and movements; keep inventory systems updated with physical stock; manage master data as required.
- Picking and staging: Select materials ordered by crews, pack safely and protectively, consolidate for ease of receiving, and mark/repack as needed.
- Loading and unloading: Operate forklifts (including backhoes) proficiently and/or manually; unload materials on time and verify paperwork accuracy.
- Maintain clean and orderly warehouse and yard areas.
- Perform additional store/warehouse functions and duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Pay
The anticipated compensation for this union role is $25.20 to $35.99 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
