About the role
The Warehouseman at KNAPP is responsible for various tasks including reviewing inventory, picking and shipping products, loading and unloading freight, performing electromechanical repairs, and managing shipping processes.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify physical counts and contents
- Bag and tag parts and enter data into ERP system (Oracle / SAP)
- Place parts into inventory and provide necessary paperwork to Shipping Manager
- Notify manager about any discrepancies in goods receipts and take pictures of damaged items
- Certified to operate forklifts and maintain bin locations
- Ship outgoing orders and/or returns the same day pick slips have been provided
- Properly pack and label packages, including providing delivery notes
- Process through shipping software, data entry into ERP system, and close lines the same day items are shipped
- Communicate any issues to manager
Requirements
Essential functions include:
- Responsible for receiving incoming shipments

- Providing all paperwork to Shipping Manager
- Notifying manager about any discrepancies in goods receipts
- Taking pictures of any damaged items
- Certified to operate forklifts
- Maintaining bin locations and maximizing storage potential of parts
- Ensuring items not shipped are properly marked
- Keeping dock clear of shipments not slated for immediate pickup
- Keeping dock clear of trash and debris
- Racking incoming marketing skids, tool boxes, or other non-inventory receipts
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in warehouse operations and/or electromechanical repairs
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle / SAP)
- Forklift certification
