Warehouse Worker - Tulane University - QuickEats - PartTime

Job Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, accurately label items, and report discrepancies.
• Organize and store incoming products according to FIFO principles for perishables.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders, following standard operating procedures.
• Load, unload, and transport products and materials within the warehouse and to client locations.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
• Clean work areas as assigned, including restrooms, break areas, loading docks, and freight areas.
• Implement and adhere to all safety policies and emergency procedures.
• Use required safety equipment and personal protective gear.
• Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests regarding business activities.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 35 lbs occasionally.
• Some client locations may require a valid driver's license.
• Availability for open shifts is required.
