Warehouse Worker - Tote Load Out - Mid Shift

About the role

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals with a safety-conscious attitude and a positive, outgoing demeanor who are eager to succeed in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Partially working in a temperature-controlled environment between 34 – 36 degrees.
• Standing and moving throughout the shift.
• Lifting and moving totes weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking.
• Stacking cold chain products onto trailers.
• Pulling empty bakery cans from trailers.
• Pushing U-boats from the cooler onto trailers.
• Fulfilling other duties as assigned, such as stamping/coding product, trailer loading/offloading (no PIT required), and general warehouse clean-up.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Independent work ability, customer service skills, multi-tasking, organizational skills, flexibility, excellent with numbers and time management skills required.
• Flexible to work overtime.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Accept responsibility for own and others' safety.

$23.03 per hour

Schedule

Wednesday - Saturday, 11AM - 9:30PM

Physical Requirements

• The associate will be required to remember and understand certain instructions, guidelines, or other information.
• The associate must be able to see and verbally communicate.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• The associate is frequently required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
• The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
• The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
