Warehouse Worker - Temp
About the role
Loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, forklift/equipment operation, fabrication, and transportation of goods. Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported. Verify computations against physical count of stock. Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same. Performs other duties as assigned.
Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
Qualifications
HS Diploma and 5 years of experience in area of responsibility as an individual contributor. Aviation Logistics experience desired.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb ladders, raised platforms, climb in and out of aircraft
- Must be able to use hand and power tools
- Must have the dexterity to handle small parts
- Ability to make repetitive movements, such as bending, or squatting
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
