Warehouse Worker - Reno Sparks Convention Center

Job Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, accurately label items, and report discrepancies.
• Complete daily receiving and rejection logs.
• Organize and store incoming products in assigned locations using FIFO controls for perishables.
• Restock inventory in various locations such as bars, concession stands, culinary kitchens, and pantries.
• Operate and train on manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders according to requisitions or par levels.
• Follow SOPs to maintain accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload, and transport products and materials within the warehouse and to client locations.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts based on established schedules.
• Accurately complete administrative duties including inventory count documents, temperature and spoilage logs, equipment inspections, and other relevant business records.
• Clean work areas as assigned, including restrooms, break areas, loading docks, freight elevators, and freight platforms.
• Implement and adhere to all location safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures.
• Use required safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
• Take appropriate measures to ensure the security of client and company assets.
• Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests regarding business-related activities and attend meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Over 21 years of age.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Nevada Non-Commercial Driver's License required.
• At least 2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 35 lbs occasionally.
• Some client locations may require a current valid driver's license.
