Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
- Receive products coming into the warehouse
- Verify quantity and description of products
- Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
- Stock incoming orders
- Maintain accurate physical inventories
- Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
- Follow proper receiving procedures
- Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
- Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
Requirements
- Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred
- Great work ethic
- Able to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity
- Able to maintain a fast pace and multi-task
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
