Warehouse Worker - NCDC (Days)
About the role
Foster Farms is seeking an individual to perform various tasks within the distribution center, including issuing materials from stock, stocking shelves, loading and unloading trailers, staging orders, and preparing materials for shipment.
Responsibilities
- Move materials from one location to another.
- Maintain proper shelf location for materials.
- Operate forklift and pallet jacks to move materials in and out of trailers.
- Verify and document quantities received against packaging lists, check for damage and cleanliness.
- Stage orders by moving materials to different locations.
- Package materials for shipment, ensuring correct quantities are moved and materials are accounted for in inventory.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift/Pallet Jack license.
- Able to read and write instructions in English, communicate effectively with other DC employees.
- Able to work in a cold environment (temperatures ranging from 0 to 40 degrees).
- Capable of standing and walking for prolonged periods, lifting up to 80 lbs on a routine basis, and meeting pick standards.
- Able to operate and care for a scan gun.
- Must be able to submit and pass a background check.
Benefits
The position offers a pay rate of $20.00 per hour, with additional rates for hours worked outside regular shifts (additional $1.00 per hour for 7:00pm-11:59pm, additional $2.00 per hour for 12:00am-4:59am).
