Warehouse Worker - MSS
About the role
Mid-State Supply provides high-quality, reliable products to customers across the US and plays an essential role in building better communities. As a Warehouse Worker, you will process stock and materials, pick and fill orders, pack and ship products, and manage, organize, and retrieve stock in the warehouse. This position involves loading and unloading trucks, receiving materials, and ensuring products are properly picked, packaged, wrapped, and labeled for delivery. You will also maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety and environmental compliance in warehouse operations
- Maintain quality control and assurance for incoming and outgoing products
- Perform routine maintenance and support continuous process improvement
- Enhance productivity and control costs
- Engage in personal and organizational development
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Three or more years of experience in a similar role is preferred
- Experience with electrical products, customers, and vendors is highly preferred
- Previous experience operating moving equipment such as forklifts is required
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds by hand on a regular basis
