About the role

The Warehouse Associate Il Sandblaster operates power equipment, performs a variety of tasks under direct supervision, and performs quality checks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate sandblast equipment to prepare surfaces for coating or other treatments
• Set up and adjust sandblasting equipment and machinery to ensure proper and efficient operation
• Alert Supervisor of any quality problems, part shortages, machine breakdowns or any other situations
• Maintain equipment and machinery in good working order and report any issues or problems to management
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and job orders to determine the required specifications and processes
• Maintain accurate records of production, including the type and amount of materials used, and any issues or deviations from standard procedures
• Perform regular quality control checks to ensure the finished product meets required specifications and standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating sandblasting equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including lifting and moving heavy objects
