Pay
$19.66 /hr Base Rate plus $1.00 Shift Differential
Schedule
Monday – Friday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Responsibilities
- Accurately match numbers & letters
- Accurately stage and sort products for loading
- Load and unload trailers
- Open and close dock doors
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas
- Pull manual dock chain
- Stack cardboard boxes and pallets
- Move materials within the warehouse
- Comply with all safety requirements
- Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink‑wrapping, boxing, labeling)
- Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
- Perform quality control
- Identify and remove damaged products when received
- Complete daily logs
- Communicate with associates from other shifts
- Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material/equipment needs
- Record numbers of units handled and moved using daily production sheets or work tickets
- Assemble product containers and crates using hand tools and precut lumber
- Pack containers and re‑pack damaged containers
- Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute them to production workers or assembly lines
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing stations or shipping departments
- Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards
- Use computer systems to enter records
- Prepare parcels for mailing
- Maintain inventory records
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
- Transport stored items from the warehouse to the plant or pick up items from multiple locations for shipment (where applicable)
- Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by a supervisor
Qualifications
- No prior warehouse experience required but preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
- Ability to work independently, provide customer service, multitask, stay organized, be flexible, and manage time effectively required
- Flexibility to work overtime preferred
- Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions required
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Willingness to work the required schedule and location
- Completion of a Penske employment application, background investigation, and drug screening required
- Position designated as safety‑sensitive; must maintain constant alertness and work safely
- Responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others
Physical Requirements
The role requires frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting. Associates must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lb (23 kg) and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lb (45 kg). Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
