About the role

As a full-time Warehouse Equipment Operator, you’ll play a key role in pulling, receiving, picking, packaging, loading, and moving merchandise to ensure smooth operations. You’ll operate powered material handling equipment and maintain inventory levels while contributing to a team that supports pets and pet parents nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Repetitively place and pull merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds to and from storage locations using hand-held radio frequency devices or voice recognition systems.
• Receive, pick, package, load, and move merchandise for shipment, either in boxes or on pallets, using powered or manual pallet jacks, standup lifts, turret trucks, or forklifts.
• Replenish inventory stock and perform inventory activities, including counting materials, equipment, or supplies and comparing them to records.
• Unload incoming shipments and load outgoing trucks with merchandise using powered industrial material handling equipment.
• Stage or stock merchandise in storage locations to maintain inventory levels.
• Package merchandise for shipment, ensuring correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Basic math proficiency.
• Ability to repetitively lift and/or move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass required certification to operate powered material handling equipment.
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified (experience preferred but not required).

Pay

$18.50 per hour. Salary range: $15.45 - $25.45 hourly, depending on position, location, experience, and applicable minimum wage laws.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM.
• Overtime as needed.
