Warehouse Worker I

About the Role

As a Warehouse Worker I at Luxor, you will perform various warehouse activities to support departmental goals, including picking product for shipment, assembling components, moving product, and receiving materials into inventory. This role requires lifting heavy materials and may involve overtime to meet operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing outbound orders
• Receipt of inbound materials
• Assembling components in production
• Cycle counting inventory
• Operating warehouse machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks, and wrapping machines
• Following standardized procedures for safety, shipping, picking, packing, and special labeling
• Participating in general warehouse cleaning, organization, and safety programs
• Reacting productively to change and handling other essential tasks as assigned

Requirements

• 1–2 years of previous warehouse experience
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Forklift operating certification and safety certification
• Experience moving freight, stock, or other materials using forklifts or other equipment
• Ability to read work orders and standard work documents
• Experience working in a continuous improvement/LEAN environment

Skills

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods during an eight-hour shift

This role operates in a warehouse environment.

Pay

$18–$19 per hour
