Warehouse Worker - Food Distribution Center (T3895)
About the role
Average shifts are available Sunday through Saturday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Attend safety trainings to learn how to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Pack, load, and ship items to stores and guests.
- Accurately process merchandise to our stores and guests.
- Handle freight and move inventory throughout the warehouse safely, quickly, and efficiently.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
- Report to work on time and complete job tasks as assigned accurately and on time.
- Engage in problem solving to support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs. frequently throughout a shift.
- Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs. occasionally throughout a shift.
- Able to push utility carts up to 60 lbs., use carts, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items.
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Work at a height of up to 40 ft. on a mezzanine (where applicable).
- Able to accurately use basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
- Able to accurately read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
- Able to operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction after receiving training.
- Able to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms.
- Able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions.
- Able to operate all powered equipment safely (including but not limited to Pallet Rider, Scissor Lift, Sit Down & Standup Forklift), and work at heights of up to 40 ft. where applicable.
Qualifications
- Food Distribution Center Only: Able to work in various temperature-controlled environments including refrigerator and freezer.
Skills
- Positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
- Ability to read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
- Ability to operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction after receiving training.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms.
- Ability to operate all powered equipment safely (including but not limited to Pallet Rider, Scissor Lift, Sit Down & Standup Forklift), and work at heights of up to 40 ft. where applicable.

Pay
The pay range is $22.50 to $25.08 per hour. Additional compensation may be earned in the form of a shift differential, ranging from $2.00 to $3.50 per hour, based on eligibility.
