Target's Global Supply Chain and Logistics is evolving rapidly, aiming to get products to guests faster than ever. A Warehouse Worker role involves handling merchandise, packing, loading, and shipping items to stores and guests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Attend safety trainings to learn safe practices in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
• Pack, load, and ship items to stores and guests.
• Accurately process merchandise to stores and guests.
• Handle freight and move inventory throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Report to work on time and complete job tasks accurately and on time.
• Engage in problem-solving to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.

Requirements

• Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Able to push utility carts up to 60 lbs., use carts, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Work at a height of up to 40 ft on a mezzanine (where applicable).
• Able to accurately use basic math skills, count, add, subtract.
• Able to accurately read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
• Able to operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction after receiving training.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Able to be trained on and operate all powered equipment safely (including but not limited to Pallet Rider, Scissor Lift, Sit Down & Standup Forklift), and work at heights of up to 40 ft where applicable.
• Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions.

Food Distribution Center Only

• Able to work in various temperature-controlled environments including refrigerators and freezers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Skills

• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy.

Pay

The starting hourly wage for Warehouse Workers is $23.50, with a potential increase based on tenure. Additional compensation may be available in the form of a shift differential, ranging from $2.00 to $3.50 per hour, based on eligibility.

Schedule

Shifts vary, typically requiring a combination of day, evening, and weekend hours. Specific schedules are determined by department needs and can be flexible within reason.
