Warehouse Worker First Shift

About the role

My Auto Store operates a state‑of‑the‑art automotive disassembly plant in Camden, New Jersey, dismantling 7,000+ vehicles each month and ranking among the nation’s largest automobile recyclers. The company ships used auto parts nationwide through its online store. In this role you will perform quality control inspections on car parts, clean and prepare parts for storage or shipment, organize inventory, assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, communicate with management, collaborate with team members, maintain a clean warehouse, and follow safety regulations including PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections on car parts, identifying defects, damage, or wear.
• Clean and prepare car parts (e.g., bumpers, doors) for proper storage or shipment.
• Organize and store car parts and materials in designated areas for easy access and efficient retrieval.
• Assist with physical inventories, cycle counts, and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding concerns, issues, or improvement ideas.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support daily warehouse operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by performing routine cleaning and organizational tasks.
• Follow safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks.
• Must have dismantling and/or automobile experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 pounds as needed.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to perform occasional bending and kneeling as part of the job.
• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a clean, safe, and productive warehouse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.

Pay

$19.98 per hour (union position).

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
