Warehouse Worker - Cooler - Mid-Shift

About the role

This position involves working in a temperature-controlled, fast-paced environment (34–36°F) within a cooler/Safeway setting.

Schedule

Sunday–Wednesday, 10:00 AM–8:30 PM

Pay

$21.39 per hour

Responsibilities

• Manual lifting of cold chain totes up to 30 lbs
• Standing and moving for the duration of the shift
• Picking cold chain products in a cooler and placing them in cold chain totes
• Palletizing and stacking cold chain totes in an orderly manner as stipulated by the company
• Cycle counting bulk product
• Loading production line
• Labeling and removing labels for same-day and next-day production
• Following all SOPs and adhering to GMP policies
• Ability to lift 30 lbs consistently

Requirements

• No prior warehouse experience required (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions
• Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking, organizational skills, flexibility, and time management
• Flexible to work overtime (preferred)
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
• Willingness to work the required schedule and at the specified location
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening
• This position is safety-sensitive; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
• Must accept responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
