About the role

As a DC Associate, you will assist in warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and staging parts, utilizing hand-held radio frequency devices (RF scanners), and moving materials throughout the distribution center. You will have overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Mark pallets with identifying store information
  • Use computer/RF scanners to enter records
  • Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Use voice picking systems
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and hazard-free work area
  • Use handheld radio frequency devices (RF units)
  • Ensure consistent, reliable attendance
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or homeschool equivalency
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Eligible to work in the country for which you are applying
  • Ability to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior warehouse training or experience (preferred but not required)

  • Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, and hear
  • Frequently stop, kneel, and crouch; occasionally sit, climb, or balance
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus

Pay

Worldpac expects to pay a base salary in the range of USD $17.00 - USD $22.75 per hour. Individual pay will be determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
