We are looking for a Warehouse Worker to join our team! The employee in this position will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks and trailers of material. Should be able to operate a forklift. You should have general knowledge of warehouse operations such as picking and pulling orders. The ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds is required. Work environment includes company warehouse, plant, or production areas with periods of continual standing or walking. The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing is required. General knowledge of computers and handheld scanners would be considered a plus. Pre-employment drug screening and clean driving record will be required.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and loading trucks for delivery
• Storing away incoming material in the proper place
• Verifying packing slip with incoming product
• Following safety rules and work procedures
• Positioning blocks and/or tying a rope around items to secure cargo during transit
• Cleaning work area
• Performing other duties as needed

Requirements

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Ability to operate a forklift
• General knowledge of warehouse operations (picking and pulling orders)
• Ability to read and understand written information
• Pre-employment drug screening and clean driving record

Skills

• Forklift operation (knowledge)
• General knowledge of computers and handheld scanners (considered a plus)
