Warehouse Worker

About the role

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY - the global leader in opening solutions, has a warehouse associate opening in Manassas, VA. We are looking for a motivated, hard-working individual who is not afraid of heavy lifting, treats customers with respect, believes in teamwork, and is committed to long-term employment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming product (can be between 50-75lb) mostly by hand
• Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service
• Occasionally provide deliveries in a 26' box truck
• Assist with inventory and damage control

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license, with at least one year of driving experience
• Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75lb) and constant movement
• Must be able to pass all DOT requirements, including physical, background screening, and a MVR that must meet Amarr driver standards
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines
• Demonstrated history of steady employment

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional overtime.

Pay

The hourly pay rate ranges from $22.00 to $24.00, based on factors such as skills, experience, training, and certifications. Additional compensation opportunities may include driving and performance-based bonuses.
