Warehouse Worker

About the role

Apollo Mechanical Contractors is seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team in Spokane Valley. The position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and accurately recording incoming shipments; picking, packing, and preparing orders; loading and unloading trucks; maintaining a clean and safe work environment; operating warehouse equipment; assisting with inventory counts; and performing other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments; verify quantities and report discrepancies
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment following established procedures and quality standards
• Load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment as required
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe warehouse work areas; follow all company safety policies
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift) if certified; complete required equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and maintaining inventory accuracy in the warehouse management system
• Perform other duties and support team members as directed by supervisor

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work effectively with team members
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk for extended periods
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to shifting priorities
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, and ability to learn additional computer software programs
• Forklift experience preferred
