About the role
Full-time, on-site in a temperature-controlled warehouse (dry, cooler freezer: -5 °F to 38 °F).
Responsibilities
- Safely operate material handling equipment: need 2yrs of experience using Electric Pallet Jack
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
- Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory
- Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols
- Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately
- Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy
- Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products
Requirements
- Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- 2yrs of Electrical Pallet Jack
- Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting and documentation
- Use of voice-directed picking system to accurately select and prepare customer orders
- Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred
