Warehouse Utility Worker

About the role

The Warehouse Utility Worker supports the Metro NY Warehouse team at Tropicana Brands Group, a $3B startup aiming to revolutionize the beverage category. This role involves hand-building pallets of product for bulk shipments and route trucks, ensuring order accuracy and compliance with shipper/receiver documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build outgoing orders and unload incoming trucks using an electronic order system or order sheets.
• Operate a powered pallet jack or forklift to move products to the picking area and build pallets or loads according to load sheets or voice-pick audio equipment (if applicable).
• Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items.
• Wrap and stage completed pallets for truck loading.
• Submit order documentation for verification before loading trucks.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse work.
• Previous warehouse experience, including order selecting, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklift operation, and racking systems.
• Proven experience operating a forklift, including tasks such as driving forward, reversing, lifting, and lowering the boom, and maneuvering in tight spaces without damaging products.
• Experience working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets, including placing pallets on or off vertical product racking systems and trucks, and maximizing vertical storage.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including cooperating with coworkers, problem-solving, etc.
• Strong productivity and accuracy skills, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is essential.
