Responsibilities

• Assist or perform duties in other warehouse positions, including forklift operator, material handler, and clerk
• Maintain facility cleanliness and order in shipping, warehouse, and outside grounds
• Support shift supervisor and/or lead in shipping, loading, receiving, warehouse storage, product rotation, inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, and safety
• Assist with material handling, forklift operation, and clerk duties
• Support warehouse lead duties, release shipments, coordinate dock activities, and verify loaded pallets
• Assist with inventory and warehouse clerk duties, including inventory count reconciliation, processing shipments, and creating purchase orders/stock transfer orders
• Unload inbound shipments, load Direct Store Delivery trucks, and perform put-away and replenishment of product
• Build pallets via paper order or voice pick
• Rework damaged product in the warehouse
• Sort product and replenish flow racks
• Restack fallen product
• Straighten and sort pallets and shells
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Operate efficiently to increase productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Minimum age: 18 years old
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat, professional appearance within company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of company assets
• Ability to utilize all company-provided resources and technology
• High school diploma or GED; or 6 to 12 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and teamwork
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedules as required

Physical Requirements

Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Safety-toed shoes are required when performing the following tasks: operating powered industrial equipment, working in areas where powered industrial equipment is in use, fleet maintenance, working with palletized product, use of hand trucks/dollies, cooler services, etc.
