Warehouse Utility – 2nd shift

About the role

The Warehouse Operator / Delivery Driver role at Reece & Fortiline is vital for ensuring customers receive essential materials to provide clean water and heating/cooling. This position involves working cooperatively in a team to efficiently receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material, while also verifying all loads for accurate customer deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively in a team within the warehouse to efficiently receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material in order to maintain inventory standards
• Verify all loads to ensure accurate customer deliveries
• Properly load and unload the materials from the truck, and maintain inventory control
• Operate the class of vehicle necessary for the assignment
• Drive in various conditions, including urban and construction settings
• Deliver high quality customer service and professionalism

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license for assigned vehicle class
• Class C – Anything 26,000 lbs or less combined gross weight
• Class B – Box truck with a combined vehicle weight of 26,001lbs or more
• Have and maintain a clean driving record

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Forklift Certification
• Skills and knowledge to advance your career into leadership, CDL driver, or sales opportunities
• Additional physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 75 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job during the assigned work hours

Skills

• Physical Capacities: Lift up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the day, sitting and standing for extended periods. Kneeling, squatting, climbing, and walking
• Operation of Office Equipment: Job requires operation of equipment common to office settings, including computers, copiers, and other office equipment
