Warehouse Unloader Days

As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in unloading and receiving inbound trailers in a fast-paced, active environment.

About the role

Starting rate $19/hr with an earning potential of $20+/hr after training. Full-time, 1st shift available.

Schedule

• 4/10s schedule (four 10-hour days) with at least one weekend day
• Start time: 6:30am until end of shift
• Overtime as required

Responsibilities

• Receive product, record code dates, and break down pallets according to receiving procedures
• Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and/or clamp machines to move merchandise
• Maneuver pallets from the dock to correct aisles at a fast pace to prevent backlog
• Perform equipment inspections and complete appropriate forms
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weights, shapes, and heights

Physical Demands

• Continually standing, bending, pulling, lifting, and pivoting (up to 90% of shift)
• Walking on surfaces including concrete, tile, and carpet
• Frequently lifting product weighing between 1–60+ lbs.
• Frequent lifting of product from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects, including box-cutting tools

Work Environment

Warehouse: Grocery warehouse (50°F to 90°F)

Requirements

• One or more years of experience operating a sit-down forklift (required)
• Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures
• Team-oriented outlook with a passion for helping others
• Desire to work with a team to support community causes
• Ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
• High school diploma or GED
