Job Responsibilities

• Receives material coming into the warehouse by vendors, customers, or returning from projects accurately and promptly.
• Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking items received against the packing list.
• Prepares a receiving report if none is available.
• Examine incoming shipments for damaged items and appropriately report/record any discrepancies.
• To accurately place materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner.
• Attaches identifying tag or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
• Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to projects or vendors.
• Review all requisitions to determine if they were picked correctly.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness is maintained on a regular basis.
• Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area.

What You Will Bring To The Role

• Be able to identify items by size, type, style, color or manufacturer.
• Solid reading skills - must be able to read requisitions for materials to be shipped.
• Basic math skills and reasoning skills.
• Forklift Certification a plus but not required.
• Ability to understand and execute instructions.
• General understanding of the warehouse and footprint.
• Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices or computers if necessary.

Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00. Work Schedule: 40 hours.
