About the role

The Warehouse Technician (WO) supports warehouse operations and assigned projects, focusing on shipping and receiving, quality control, inventory management, and logistics-related tasks. This position reports directly to the Supervisor or Manager of Warehouse Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Inbound/Outbound Order Processing: Process receiving, shipping, and labeling using advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); perform AI-driven defect detection and random inspections; apply lean management principles to optimize inventory control; use real-time inventory tracking systems and IoT devices.
  • Logistics and Transportation: Process shipments via automated systems for small parcel, LTL, and fleet deliveries; operate automated guided vehicles (AGVs), automated storage systems, forklifts, reach trucks, and powered pallet jacks; use route optimization software and real-time tracking systems.
  • Safety: Conduct digital safety inspections and IoT-enabled equipment monitoring; complete OSHA-certified safety training; follow ergonomic best practices and proper lifting techniques; maintain HazCom compliance and emergency response readiness.
  • Warehouse Housekeeping: Apply 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain); perform predictive maintenance using analytics and IoT monitoring; uphold cleanliness standards and sustainable practices.
  • Customer Service: Perform digital safety checks and equipment monitoring; participate in OSHA safety training; follow ergonomic and lifting protocols; maintain HazCom compliance and emergency preparedness.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of warehouse experience with exposure to modern warehouse technologies
  • Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment and safety protocols
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform warehouse tasks following ergonomic guidelines

Technical Skills

  • Experience with modern Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software
  • Proficiency in RF scanners, barcode systems, and RFID technology
  • Basic understanding of automation and robotics in warehouse operations
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and warehouse-specific software applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical certification in warehouse operations or related field
  • Experience with automated warehouse systems and IoT devices
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT) certification
  • Knowledge of lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Work Environment

Warehouse work is performed in a modern warehouse environment and occasionally at event venues, with exposure to outdoor temperatures, dust, dirt, and other environmental factors. Team members must adhere to company appearance guidelines both in the warehouse and when representing the organization at venues or during travel.

  • Climate control systems in designated areas mitigate extreme temperatures and improve worker comfort.
  • Dust and air quality management systems, such as industrial air filtration, reduce exposure to airborne particles.
  • Ergonomic workstations and lifting aids minimize physical strain and reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries.
  • Noise levels vary from moderately quiet to loud depending on tasks and equipment.
  • Frequent interaction with high-end audio-visual equipment, electrical components, and automated systems requires strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Work schedules may include irregular hours, on-call status, and shifts during days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet operational demands.

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $17.06 – $22.18. Final compensation is based on location, travel, relevant work experience, skills, and expertise; some positions may be eligible for overtime, bonuses, or incentives.
