Description
The Warehouse Technician I is responsible for order pulling, product receiving, shipping, packaging, labeling, inventory tracking, and other warehouse related tasks.
Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities
- Accuracy in order pulling, shipping, and receiving of hazardous and non-hazardous materials
- Prepares freight bills and monitors accuracy of completion
- Works closely with freight carriers and delivery services to ensure fastest, safest, and most economical on-time delivery of products
- Ensures orders are shipped to proper customer location, minimizing spill rates
- Maintains valid certificate of completion for forklift operations
- Maintains valid certificate of completion for DOT / HazMat 49 CFR 172.704 (Hazardous Material Transportation) and IATA, if applicable
- Maintains compliance with all federal and state shipping and receiving requirements
- Assists with ISO quality assurance
- Responsible for preventive maintenance and incident reporting for warehouse safety
- Facilitates two-way communications with coworkers and supervisory personnel to ensure full customer satisfaction
- Wears appropriate safety gear while on duty
- Maintains warehouse safety and personnel access to warehouse area
- Maintains good attendance and punctuality
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- 2+ years warehousing experience in an industrial, semiconductor, and/or distribution industry
- Warehouse management system experience (TWL experience with an RF gun is preferred)
- 2+ years inventory processing, cycle counting, and reconciliation
- HazMat certified or willing to complete training within 90 days of hire
- May require a valid driver’s license and periodic DMV checks

- Ability to adapt to workplace environment and organizational change
- Reliable, dependable, punctual, maintains good attendance, and conscientious about production performance
- Knowledgeable of “two-tier” reporting, if applicable
- Computer literate in MS Word and Outlook; working knowledge of shipping and receiving software
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary
