Warehouse Technician (Forklift Operator) - 2nd Shift

About the role

This is a hands-on position responsible for all aspects of shipping, receiving, and warehousing functions within the plant. The individual will contribute to a consistent, safe, and productive work environment through participation in corporate programs.

Responsibilities

• Work with production to ensure materials are available in a timely manner.
• Visually inspect and count inbound loads to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Confirm that documentation for incoming shipments adheres to established guidelines.
• Load and accurately document outbound shipments of finished product.
• Rotate inventory according to first in, first out (FIFO) guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dock and storage areas.
• Interact with drivers, delivery personnel, and contractors.
• Adhere to operational and personnel policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in Food Safety and Food Defense-related activities.
• Perform additional duties as directed.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in warehouse operations (order picking, shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks).
• Experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to become forklift certified.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds repeatedly.
• Proficiency in driving an electric sit-down forklift and operating an electric pallet jack.

Schedule

2nd shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. Occasional biweekly Saturday overtime is part of the standard schedule.

Pay

$23.00 – $23.00 hourly.
